Once TV México will premiere its documentary series, Antropológicas, on Monday, November 4, at 12 midnight ET/9pm PT, on the networks international signal serving the U.S. The new series, a co-production with Mexicos Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (National Institute of Anthropology and History), traces Mexicos historical development from its pre-Hispanic era to todays ethnically diverse society.Utilizing a fresh and engaging magazine style format, each of the 33 one-hour episodes that comprise the Antropológicas series will focus on one of five themes: pre-Hispanic Mexico, Viceroyalty, Independent Mexico, Revolutionary Mexico and original Indian civilizations. Integrating a variety of visual elements such as documentary footage, personal testimonies, biographies, photographs, maps and special reports, Antropológicas will also feature on-camera interviews with more than 130 experts in all aspects of history and anthropology.
