Michael Schwimmer: We are very supportive of the cable operators desire to provide TV Everywhere
(Maribel Ramos-Weiner). This Fourth of July, SíTV will re-launch as nuvoTV, with a new channel image and new original programming.PRODU spoke with Michael Schwimmer, CEO of nuvoTV, at the Cable Show in Chicago: nuvoTV is the transformation of SíTV into something that is more inclusive. Some of the new original shows are Operation Osmin, the fourth season of the reality Model Latina, now from Las Vegas; and for the last quarter, Mission Menu.I would say we have grown every year since we launched in 2004, we will continue to grow this year and we will end this year in about 30 million homes, and this will be a result from incremental homes from existing operators as well from new relations. We are already in all 15 top Hispanic markets in America and we continue to grow. There is a couple of folks we are in negotiations with, but in general we make progress year over year, added Schwimmer.When asked about TV Everywhere, Schwimmer said it is important to get your brand across: TV Everywhere is important to us because we want to get our brand out there to as many people as possible. I frankly dont care if people watch us on their iPad, on their phone or on TV, as long as we can meet our basic business objective from a monetary perspective. We are very supportive of the cable operators desire to provide TV Everywhere and we are part of those efforts.{Watch the interview with Michael Schwimmer talking about the re-brand of SíTV into nuvoTV;www.produ.tv/popup.html?noti=5229&ID=53335&Link=av/MichaelSchwimmer-Jul11/ProgAdSales.mp4} – {Watch mobile version;http://quick.produ.com/av/MichaelSchwimmer-Jul11/ProgAdSalesMovil.mov}
