Olympusat is increasing production of original movies for its channels Cine Mexicano, Gran Cine and Ultra Cine, among others, to about four to five films per month. The first premieres will take place in September.Tom Mohler, CEO of Olympusat, told PRODU that the company is currently producing about a movie per month, noting that the bump in production is significant.This is a continuous commitment within our movies offer. It spans films that are classic, contemporary, theatrical and made-for-TV, said Mohler.He said that in addition to producing these movies for its channels, Olympusat plans to distribute this content to broadcast and pay-TV channels in Latin America.The movies continue to be produced between Mexico (2) and the U.S. (2), with big Hispanic celebrities, in Spanish, and with different independent producers. Were trying to attract the Males 18-49 demographic through a variety of genres, especially action, added Mohler.
