NUVOtv enters into co-production partnership with Vevo

NUVOtv reached a new co-production partnership agreement with Vevo, the world’s leading all-premium music video and entertainment platform, to produce the original series The Collective, Powered by Vevo.Part of NUVOtv’s spring programming slate, The Collective, Powered by Vevo is co-executive produced by NUVOtv’s Chief Creative Officer Jennifer López under her Nuyorican Productions banner. Premiering March 6 at 8pm ET/5pm PT, the weekly, two-hour series will feature select DJs and celebrity tastemakers who will offer their unique perspective on what’s new and what’s hot across music and pop culture. The series will highlight the tastemakers’ personal music picks of the week, intimate celebrity interviews, and hot trends in music, fashion, live events, viral videos and more.Following the NUVOtv premiere, each weekly episode will air exclusively across Vevo’s free apps for mobile/tablet/TV and {Vevo.com}.Noted NUVOtv EVP Programming Bill Hilary, “When it comes to music videos, Vevo has become the world’s gold standard making them the perfect partner for NUVOtv as we expand our original entertainment offerings in the music space.” Remarked Vevo’s SVP Content and Programming Doug McVehil, “The Collective, Powered by Vevo marks our first foray into weekly television production.
