Michael Schwimmer, CEO; Craig Geller, SVP of Ad Sales; Bill Hilary, EVP of Programming; accompanied by Jennifer López, Chief Creative Officer, and host Mario López, led the NUVOtv upfront presentation last Monday May 12th at the Edison Ballroom in New York.Announcements included the recent acquisition of Fuse, which adds a distribution of 73 million homes. NUVOtv will have a 15% stake of the new expanded company.Schwimmer also announced the expansion of the partnership with Jennifer Lópezs Nuyorican Productions and with Mario Lópezs Gordo Productions. López is the host and Executive Producer of Mario López: One on one, gearing up for a third season. The expansion with Nuyorican Productions includes two new series, Los Jets and the reality competition Sensation, as well as new seasons of A Step Away and The Collective Powered by Vevo. Gordo Productions will create for NUVOtv a dating dance show produced by Mario López and hosted by his wife, Courtney López, in addition to a docu-series entitled Tequila King.NUVOtv also unveiled a new programming concept named Nu America: an umbrella franchise that will cover several social topics. Los Jets will be the first series to join this project.
