NTN24: Our goal is to continue expanding our reach in the U.S., Canada and Latin America

With the recent addition by Bell Fibe of Canada of NTN24, the channel now has a reach of 41 million subscribers in the U.S., Latin America and Canada. PRODU visited the New York bureau of NTN24, and spoke with Chief Correspondent Julio César García, who said the next phase is to continue expanding the channel’s distribution.“We have a very ambitious plan to expand and reach new screens across the U.S. and Latin America. Our director Claudia Gurisatti has been very active and we expect to reach a higher number of viewers soon,” said García, who is the most recent addition to the channel and the host of a new weekly show entitled Líderes.He said that in addition to the channel’s four newscasts, some of the original programs include Suma La Noticia with Andrea Bernal; La Tarde with Idania Chirinos –who is also the channel’s director of Content-; La Noche with Claudia Gurisatti; El Club De Prensa, which airs from Washington with some of the most serious and specialized journalists discussing the news; El Contador De Historias; Efecto Naím with renowned journalist Moisés Naím –also hosted from Washington-; and entertainment shows like Flash Fashion, Tenemos Que Hablar, Planeta Gente and Tele Deportes.García also said the channel is launching a new website {NTN24.com}, featuring the most important clips of the day and the week, and information that people cannot find anywhere else.
