Freddy Oldenburg de Telemundo
Freddy Oldenburg has been named VP of News for Telemundo 47/WNJU, effective May 11. He will lead the station’s day-to-day news operations while growing WNJU’s joint news collaboration with sister station NBC 4 New York / WNBC.

Oldenburg joins Telemundo 47 from Dallas-Fort Worth where he worked as VP of News for Telemundo 39 / KXTX newsroom since 2017. His previous roles include VP of News for Telemundo 48 / KSTS in the San Francisco Bay Area, Assistant News director for Telemundo 52 / KVEA in Los Angeles and executive producer for Univision network in Miami. Oldenburg launched his career in broadcasting as an anchor and reporter for RCTV in Caracas, Venezuela.
