Secret, sacred, and unusual, yet, for some, these unique practices represent part of the everyday experience.With the new season premiering on Nat Geo Mundo on Sunday, April 1 at 10pm and running through June, the Tabú Latinoamérica series takes viewers on a high- definition journey beyond their comfort zones and across cultural borders to explore rituals and customs that are acceptable in some cultures, but forbidden, illegal or reviled in others. Crossing the boundary between modern practices and ancient beliefs, the series showcases a mosaic of human lifestyles and value systems.Tabú Latinoamérica, shot entirely in Latin America, seeks to uncover topics that many Hispanic families frequently don’t like to discuss and offers a chance to begin the conversation. Each hour-long episode examines one issue from a variety of perspectives, often venturing into closed worlds rarely seen. In this new season, Nat Geo Mundo cameras travel to five different countries including Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia covering more than 160,000 kilometers to feature 36 unforgettable stories in 20 remarkable cities.New episodes include: Devoción Suprema Sunday, April 1 at 10pm; Tribus Urbanas Sunday, April 8; Trabajos Tabú Sunday, April 15;Belleza al Límite Sunday, April 22 and, Rituales: Entre la Vida y la Muerte Sunday, April 29.
