MundoFOX announced the premiere in the U.S. of the series produced by FOXTelecolombia, Palabra de Ladrón (13×60), the story of a white-collar criminal who, in exchange for his freedom, agrees to help a prosecutor catch other criminals using his expertise in computer hacking and cyber theft. The new weekend primetime series premieres November 9th and will air on MundoFOX, Sundays at 9pm/8c. Starring Colombian actor Manolo Cardona and Mexican actress Ana Claudia Talancón, Palabra de Ladrón tells the story of Hernán Mendoza (Cardona), a criminal extraordinaire who specializes in cyber theft. Set up and left for dead after his final heist, Hernán finds himself wrongfully framed for murder, landing him behind bars with a 100-year sentence. Desperate for help, Ángeles Valencia (Talancón), the prosecuting attorney who helped convict Hernan, strikes up a deal with him to form an unconventional partnership based on Valencias enticing proposition: for every case he helps her solve, she will pardon a year of his sentence. Each week Hernán and Ángeles will tackle an exciting new case. Led by Cardona and Talancón, the cast includes an esteemed international cast featuring Colombian actors Helena Mallarino, Aldemar Correa and Jairo Camargo alongside Mexicans Paola Núñez, Antonio Gaona and Cuban actor Félix Antequera.
