mun2 announces multi-platform campaign for its Made in 2010 viewer’s choice awards

mun2 announced its unprecedented viewer’s choice awards, Made in 2010. Starting November 1, the network’s website {holamun2.com} will officially open its online voting polls for visitors to cast their votes on the sexiest, funniest, most controversial moments that made 2010 a memorable year.Viewer-submitted votes will determine the network’s programming schedule for one entire week. Made in 2010 winners will be revealed starting December 13 throughout the network’s original programming.“We are very excited to, once again, empower our audience to take control over an entire week of mun2 programming. mun2 is a network that validates the US Latino experience, giving the audience the control is what we strive to do day in and day out. Made in 2010 is one of many year-long initiatives that work to keep us connected,” says Flavio Morales, Senior Vice President, Programming and Production for mun2.The unprecedented Made in 2010 online and on-air campaign brings both mun2 viewers and thousands of new visitors to the network’s website where they will choose their favorite 2010 moments which will ultimately result in an entire week of mun2 programming. Social media platforms Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter will play a role in driving visitors to holamun2.com.Nominees themselves, including internationally acclaimed Latin recording artists, Aventura, who are nominated for three Made in 2010 awards, have started promoting their nominations to get fans to vote.
