More than 5 million viewers witness the debut of El Talismán on Univision

El Talismán

Venevision Productions, a production house of the Cisneros Group of Companies, celebrated the success of the world premiere of the telenovela El Talismán, its latest production in high definition (HD) in association with Univision Studios, that was seen by more than 5 million viewers (2+), making it the most-watched debut in the history of U.S.-produced novelas. Starring Blanca Soto, Rafael Novoa and Aaron Díaz, this story filled with passion, romance, and intrigue made its debut in the United States on January 30th, on the Univision Network during its primetime timeslot at 8pm, obtaining an average television audience of 3.8 million viewers (2+), 2.1 million of these were between the ages of 18 and 49 and 1.2 million were among 18 to 34 years of age. “The impressive success of the premiere of El Talismán in the United States, thanks in large part to our allies at the Univision Network, gives us much satisfaction and proves the theory that audiences appreciate content of the highest production value and featuring compelling storylines and a cast top-notch stars,” emphasized Miguel Dvorak, president and COO of the Cisneros Group of Companies, who directs global operations from the corporate headquarters in Miami, Florida. Recently, El Talismán was acquired in Ecuador, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Georgia, Venezuela, Colombia, Puerto Rico and Canada, as well as Chile, where it will be broadcast on Chilevisión, the channel that recently began airing another great production by Venevision Productions, Corazón Apasionado.
