MIP Cancun to be held from November 13-16

RX France (formerly Reed MIDEM) confirmed that MIP Cancun will be staged from 13-16 November 2022. Activities will again span four days, running this year from Sunday to Wednesday for the first time.

Now in its 9th edition, and renowned for its signature one-to-one matchmaking component, MIP Cancun returns to the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun which last year welcomed 500 delegates (evenly split between buyers, producers and distributors) from over 40 countries.

The three elements synonymous with the market also return in November:

Distribution Market – A curated programme of pre-scheduled face-to-face meetings between international distributors and an unrivalled selection of buyers from Latin America and US Hispanic broadcasters and platforms

Co-Production Forum – A unique opportunity to source partners and accelerate projects through a similarly pre-scheduled programme of matching international producers with Latin American peers.

Conference Programme – Agenda-setting, region-focused sessions which last year saw executives from likes of Telemundo, TV Azteca, Dopamine, Banijay and Gaumont addressing delegates. Further highlights synonymous with the market, such as the Fresh TV presentation from The Wit, will also return in 2022 with further announcements of speakers and special events to follow ahead of the event.
