Michel Filzi new Reed Midem’s president and CEO

Paul Zilk quit his position as president and CEO of Reed Midem. Zilk will be replaced by Michel Filzi, president and CEO of the sister company Reed Expositions France (REF).
Zilk joined Reed Midem in 2001 and has been CEO for more than 17 years. During his term, the organization expanded its business in the sectors of real estate, television, music, and electronic sports. Zilk will assume the role of the advisor of Dominic Feltham, the president of EMEA for Reed Exhibitions, during the next 12 months.
Filzi has 22 years of experience in Reed Expositions France, including 6 years as CEO. Reed Expositions France organizes over 30 events in 15 different sectors, such as construction, the hotel industry, transportation, environment, and art. Filzi will continue to be president and CEO of Reed Expositions France.
“I am immensely proud of Reed Midem. We have a talented multicultural team and many wonderful partners and clients. The last 19 years have been fantastic, but this is the appropriate moment to refocus my interests and my energies. After a great deal of preparation in the last months, I hope to be able to help Michel with our transition,” commented Zilk.
