Marcello Coltro, EVP and CMO of MGM Networks Latin America LLC, announced the appointment of Roy Meyeringh as director of Affiliate Sales for US Hispanic region.As director of Affiliate Sales, Meyeringhs primary responsibilities will be supporting companys strategy for the US Hispanic market, guaranteeing distribution growth, branding and positioning awareness, besides creating alliances with important liaisons searching for business opportunities. He will work directly with Coltro to expand the company to the next level of business, including the launch of a new channel in 2012.Roy has joined MGM last May and he is playing an important role as the team leader to define our strategy for the US Hispanic market. His expertise in this market ranges from complex licensing deals to multiyear affiliation contracts and an extensive business rapport with key executives in major cable operators and satellite systems across the country. I am sure we will see great results from his work by defining creative strategies to support our clients needs said Coltro. Prior to working for MGM Networks Latin America, Meyeringh worked as director of Channels and Content Distribution at Imagina US.His experience in the television industry started in 2003 at Cisneros Group where he held different position thought out six years, initially as a film distribution manager for Venevision International, where he was promoted to director for the multiplatform VOD film distribution and after that as a commercial director at Somos TV.
