Mexicanal renewed its programming agreement with Sistema Michoacano de Radio y Television (SMRTV). With this renewed deal, the network viewers will continue enjoying content from this important region, which represents the heritage of 12% of the burgeoning Mexican population now calling the United States home.The renewal includes a commitment to co-produce Contacto Paisano, a new half-hour program with a focus on immigration issues, featuring immigrant stories, advice and legislation updates. Contacto Paisano will set the format for other Mexicanal content partners to participate and produce region-specific episodes of the show. Other programming from SMRTV will include the cooking show Michoacán Gourmet and Michoacán, Tú si Tienes de qué Presumir, a magazine show featuring the most alluring and culturally impressive places of the state.We are very, very pleased to have renewed our agreement.
