Meruelo Media’s KDAY 93.5 FM and NFL Raiders announced an exclusive agreement in Los Angeles

The Raiders and Meruelo Media’s KDAY announced an agreement that makes KDAY 93.5 FM the exclusive Silver and Black FM flagship radio station in SoCal. The radio station, which has delivered an extraordinary performance during the Nielsen July book, will broadcast the Raider´s regular season and select postseason games, while enhancing game coverage with exciting Raiders-oriented additional programming.”No other brand in SoCal speaks to the loyal Raiders Nation better than KDAY,” stated Otto Padron, president of KDAY and Meruelo Media, “… our sound, attitude and colors are a natural fit for this legendary pro-football franchise. We are very excited with this new NFL partnership and KDAY is the right destination to the more than two-million Raiders fans in our LA market.”Raiders on KDAY will kick off on September 11 with a special live broadcast from New Orleans.The station has reached 1,188,600 Total weekly listeners (cume) in July and Hispanics comprise more than 60% of cume, according to Nielsen. “We are extremely proud of KDAY’s results these last six months and in particular July. Our continued commitment to the format and increased investments in research, programming, marketing and talent are delivering a winning performance in the highly competitive market of Los Angeles”.
