Mega TV names Carlos Herrera Sales Manager

Herrera will be in charge of the Infomercial Sales Department on both a local and national level

Mega TV, the television entity of Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (SBS), has named Carlos Herrera Sales Manager in charge of the Infomercial Sales Department on both a local and national level.Infomercials are advertiser paid programs, approximately 15 or 30 minutes in length, aired on the station. Infomercials allow advertisers to showcase their respective products and/or services exclusively to audience. Given SBS’ state-of-the-art HD Broadcasting studios in Miami, in conjunction with the highly qualified technical and production staff, Mega TV is able to offer this unique in-house service to its advertisers.Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Herrera holds a Masters in International Business and graduated with a degree in Economics and Finance from the Universidad Externado de Colombia. He owned his own sales business until accepting a job in 1999 with AT&T in the U.S. In 2003 he became the Sales Executive for América TeVe in Miami where he successfully developed a sales portfolio of US$18.0 million.“I am very grateful to SBS and Mega TV for this professional opportunity and for recognizing my work in the Hispanic market.
