In the context of a conversation with Chiquis Rivera, daughter of Jenni Rivera, star of the NBC Universo series, The Riveras (20×60’) and Bilai Joa Silar, SVP of Programming and Production for NBC Universo, moderated by María Celeste Arrarás from Telemundo, it was revealed that the new biopic series of the life of Jenni Rivera, produced by Telemundo Studios will be titled Mariposa del Barrio, the same as a popular song by the late singer.
Silar also said that The Riveras, that had its debut on NBC Universo with very good numbers last Sunday, October 16, will have a break starting December and will be aired again in March 2017.
Chiquis Rivera said that the series on Jenni Rivera, produced by Telemundo will present her mother´s life from the moment when she was a young girl in the slums, “until she became a wonderful butterfly. We want to show everything she went through to achieve that transformation.”
