Argentinean writer Mario Schajris
Argentinean writer Mario Schajris, creator of stories such as Atrévete a soñar and Una familia con suerte, said his exclusivity contract with Televisa allowed him to bring to the screen his script Cachito de cielo, and is already working on a new project entitled Amador.Schajris said Amador is a new telenovela with comedy overtones, about a Casanova who comes back to his town looking to avenge the death of his family. Im now in the writing phase and hope to soon have a producer, he added. The writer says that for Latin America, Mexico is a country we have always looked up to because of its tradition of fiction formats and particularly of telenovelas. Thats why its important to create universal stories that people can relate to regardless of where it is adapted. That has been my case: my stories have been well received in Mexico and that makes them successful, added Schajris.Lastly, he said that all stories have already been told: they all start out from two or three conflicts, but there are many elements that can make them different, and there are also many ways to tell the same story.
