Patiño joined Univision in 1997
Luis Patiño has been appointed senior vice president for the Univision Television Group at Univision Communications Inc. Patiños new responsibilities now include managing station operations, sales, news, marketing and promotions for Univisions owned and operated TV stations in San Francisco, Sacramento, Fresno, Bakersfield, Phoenix, Tucson, San Antonio and Austin. He brings to this role more than 14 years experience in various aspects of sales, operations and marketing to U.S. Hispanics. Patiño joined Univision in 1997 and most recently served as VP and general manager for KWEX-TV and KNIC-TV in San Antonio and KAKW-TV and KTFO-TV in Austin.
