Lucía Rodríguez promoted to senior director of Hispanic Marketing of Central Division at Comcast

Lucía Rodríguez has joined Comcast’s Central Division Marketing team as the senior director of Hispanic Marketing, reporting to Bill Sweeney, VP of Sales and Marketing Central Division.In her new position, Rodríguez will be responsible for leading the development and execution of Hispanic Sales and Marketing programs to increase Hispanic market share across all product lines.Rodríguez joined Comcast in 2006 as Hispanic Marketing manager for the Southern Division. In 2008, she became the Marcom and Multicultural Marketing Manager for the South Florida Region, and in 2010 she was promoted to Director of Multicultural Marketing.Her career began in the cable industry with Continental Cablevision/MediaOne. Her previous cable television experience also includes: Affiliate Sales and Marketing responsibilities at Starz Encore Group and Playboy TV Latin America. She holds a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the Universidad Católica Andres Bello in Venezuela, and a Masters degree in Broadcast Administration from Boston University.
