Keshet International (KI) and Mega Chile have entered a co-development deal to create a new entertainment series.

They will co-develop the concept over the next year for initial broadcast in their respective territories and KI will retain worldwide distribution rights to the eventual series.

“We’ve been impressed by MEGA’s incredible regeneration and are looking forward to blending our creative processes to create the next ground-breaking entertainment format for Chile. Mega is renowned for its innovation in programming and delivering what its viewers want – before they know they want it. So this is a very exciting alliance for us,” said Kelly Wright, head of Latin America at Keshet International.

Juan Ignacio Vicente, director of Content and International Business, added, “It’s a great honour to have this agreement with Keshet International, a company that is always innovating and creating excellent content that can travel around the world with great success. We look forward to putting our teams together to develop new concepts.”

Keshet International has secured a number of co-development ventures within the region with other leading broadcasters such as Telefe in Argentina, where the first co-developed show will launch in 2017, and most recently Telemundo to co-develop and produce an original Spanish-language scripted super series to air on the Spanish-language television network.
