Journalists Rebeka Diaz and Daniel Aguirre to eerve as co-anchors for Noticiero Telemundo Arizona on weekdays

Telemundo Phoenix announced that Rebeka Díaz and Daniel Aguirre have been named co-anchors for Noticiero Telemundo Arizona on weekdays at 4:30pm, 5pm and 10pm, which also airs live on Telemundo Tucson/KHRR. Award-winning journalist Rubén Pereida will serve as the new anchor for Noticiero Telemundo Arizona on weekends at 4:30pm and 10pm.Díaz and Aguirre will join meteorologist Henry Golac, sports anchor Diego Santiago and an enterprising team of reporters to deliver breaking news and up-to-the-minute information about issues affecting the Hispanic communities in Phoenix and Tucson. In addition to his weekend anchor role, Pereida will cover and report breaking news stories for the weekday newscasts.Todays announcement reflects our obligation to hiring and building the best news teams possible, so we can deliver best-in-class reporting the way our viewers demand and deserve.
