Jorge Mondragón, founder of CMX, one of the most renowned talent agencies in Mexico, told PRODU that their alliance with Sergio Pizzolante to launch CMXUS, was a win-win partnership because the boost each others action.”The idea was to have an arm in Miami to help us develop the talent we have there and generate more work, as well as develop package-type production products that include writer, director, producer and talent, to offer any network. Sergio knows almost all the main players in the industry, he has his phone numbers and they are also his friends, which is very hard to find in this field. I think it is a win-win partnership, he said.Mondragón said that his friendship with Pizzolante dates back to when he was manager of Sony. Then, when he was in E!, they became closer. They spoke about the representation of the Venezuelan singer Mariana Vega, Pizzolante´s wife, until Mondragón put forth the proposal to join him by opening an office in Miami, CXMUS. That way, they would join talent representation with content production, which Pizzolante handles very well.
