Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) announced that Jed Meyer has joined the company as EVP, Corporate Research. Meyer will be based in New York and will report to Jessica Rodríguez, EVP and CMO of UCI, who oversees the Companys Corporate Research team. In addition, Roberto Ruiz, EVP of Strategy and Insights, will also report to Rodríguez and remain based in New York. Rodríguez assumes this new charge from Kevin Conroy, who has chosen to step down to pursue new opportunities in the technology sector. Conroy will work closely with both Meyer and Rodriguez over the next few weeks to support the transition. Jed brings a wealth of media- and digital-focused research, marketing and advertising expertise to Univision. He has a deep understanding of new trends in media consumption and consumer insights, and his background as a leader of global research coupled with Jessicas creativity and marketing skills and Robertos deep understanding of our audiences will strengthen our existing research capabilities and provide new and actionable visions across our company.
