Salanova IVC
With barely two years in the market, IVC, the Venezuelan television channel is already in the US through DIRECTV’s Hispanic package, and as of April, it will be available for all the Cable Onda subscribers in Panama.
“We are very happy with the growth we have had, starting in Venezuela, where we have a large distribution, with 92% of the market. And now, with this agreement in Panama, we will be better positioned in the region. Additionally, next month we expect to announce agreements with Colombia,” comments Tony Salanova, EVP and general manager of IVC.
Aware that original production is the differential cable operators and TV viewers are after, IVC has six studios in which, during 2017, they produced 2,300 hours and for this 2018 they expect to exceed 2,500. “Our contents are full HD, we handle cutting-edge technology and we bet on original content that allows us to reach more markets,” added Salanova.
