In the framework of the 2015 Copa América in Chile, FOX Sports (9pm for Mexico, Peru and Colombia; 11pm in Argentina and Uruguay and 12am for Chile) and FOX Play in Latin America, as well as FOX Deportes (12:30am) in the US, {Crackovia América (4×30’);www.produ.com/television/videos/index.html?Noti=9550} is being broadcast every Sunday from June 14th until July 5th. It is a version of the Spanish satirical series Crackovia, which presents parodies of well-known soccer players.Produced jointly by Minoría Absoluta and Imagina US and made in Barcelona, Spain, Crackovia has already had seven uninterrupted seasons in Spain with more than 240 episodes, 270 characters imitated, and has generated more than 2 million visits in YouTube.For Crackovia América, writers from Argentina, Chile and Mexico from Back Story in Argentina, have been brought together. “Crackovia is an ideal complement for the sports fan. The comedy series draws on current events and high profile sport figures in Latin America, which makes it relevant for multi platform consumers in the region”, commented to PRODU Alexánder Sáenz, Business Development Manager at Imagina US. He indicated that for now, FOX Sports is the ally of the program for the entire American continent. He did not rule out that in the future, versions of Crackovia with other sports disciplines aside from soccer might be made. “There will always be a great participation of soccer”. He said that the characters that people have liked the most in this version have been team coaches, such as “Tata” Martino, “Piojo” Herrera and José Pékerman.
