Imagina US announced the creation of its new Documentary Division, which focuses on research, development and production of content for the entire Latin America region and U.S. Hispanic.Executive producer Max Aub will lead the new division and will report to Juan Pablo Santos, VP of Business Development; and Martin Halac, VP of Production and Operations.“This new department was possible due to the success of three recent productions: El rescate perfecto, Tirofijo está muerto and Paramilitares en Colombia, la historia de los hermanos Castaño. Excellent results in terms of content quality, production, and ratings, motivated us to create a team of professionals to develop content that is relevant to all the region,” said Santos.Aub is a renowned Mexican journalist and writer with over 25 years experience in TV and radio. He has worked for some the most important media companies in Mexico and the U.S., and has received many accolades for his research and special reports.The Documentary Division of Imagina US currently serves clients such as Discovery Channel en Español, National Geographic en Español, AT&T, DirecTV, and TBS; and has state-of-the-art production facilities in Mexico and Brazil.The division is presently working on three new projects to premiere at the end of the year, and it is also working to develop content services for TV and Internet.
