Edgardo Diaz, Erika Ender and Servando will be judges for the show
For the first time in Puerto Rico, Wapa TV and Fremantle Media present Idol Kids, a new entertainment program starring children. Idol Kids will be the first reality show on the island in which children ages six to 12 demonstrate their signing abilities with the possibility of becoming the first child idol of Puerto Rico. The casting will take place Saturday May 12 at the Verdanza Hotel in Isla Verda beginning at 7am. Idol Kids will be hosted by the Puerto Rican actor and singer Carlos Ponce, and the judges who will evaluate the young talents will consist of the Panamanian singer Erika Ender, the Puerto Rican producer Edgardo Diaz and the Venezuelan duo Primera, made up of the brothers Servando and Florentino. The prizes that the will receive include US$5,000 in cash, a tablet with a year data plan and a Garmin personal GPS awarded by AT&T. Ford will also award the winner a scholarship of US$15,000. Its the first time that a reality show based on kids is being made in Puerto Rico and itll be done with all the caution that it requires. Our objective is to find the best kids voice on the island so they become an icon in music said Luciano Cardinali, producer of the program.
