Ignacio Sanz, CEO and general manager of ¡HOLA! TV, said at Natpe 2014 that he has held meetings with several major Latin American pay-TV operators and three of the largest in the U.S. Hispanic market, in an effort to expand the channels distribution.Were focusing on the affiliate side. Were meeting with the most important operators in the region, said Sanz.The channel is also meeting with various production companies and looking for content to complement its programming grid.Sanz announced that the channel signed Canadian chef David Rocco and this month will premiere the two first seasons of its show Dolce Vita. The series aligns with the values of our brand and will refresh our screen. The first season will concentrate on Italy and the second on India, he added.When asked about the status of negotiations to launch the channel in the U.S., Sanz said the market is highly consolidated.
