HITN-TV is presenting a collection of new series guaranteed to deliver on HITNs promise of providing educational programming that also entertains. The new programming started airing November 17, 2014.The new series includes: Mundo al Natural – This program will feature the award-winning series Wild Australasia and Wild Africa. Espacio Ciencia – Featuring Wonders of the Universe, a pioneering science series that explores some of the most profound questions about our planet and space. Simon Schama’s Power of Art – This BBC documentary series – presented by historian and University Professor Simon Schama – examines the biography of an artist and his key work through Schama’s considerations and some re-enactments. A Tu Salud! – A health magazine offering useful information about prevention, medical treatments, and recent advances in medicine. Interviews with health experts and doctors are featured.In addition, HITN-TV will also feature the U. S. premier of the acclaimed drama series Hispania, The Legend. This historical fiction series, set in the Iberian Peninsula during the 2nd century BC, focuses on the dramatic events during the conquest of Hispania and subsequent oppression by the Romans.HITN-TV provides an alternative to the traditional programming offered by the Hispanic Television networks and it is our goal to continue enhancing our programming to offer even more interesting and educational content, said Florentina Almonte, VP of Programming.
