HITN: SVOD Avanza is ready to start operating

With hundreds of hours of content, HITN’s SVOD Avanza platform will be offered online. The technological platform and applications are ready, both for Android, iOS, and Apple TV. They are currently in conversations with cable operators in US Hispanic to offer this model.

“We are very satisfied with the volume of content we have managed to acquire. We have a vast library. Avanza’s objective is to have hundreds of hours from the first day of operation,” said Guillermo Sierra, HITN’s Head of Programming and Digital Services.

Sierra feels that one of the main challenges in the industry this year is the adaptation to how contents are being distributed through digital platforms.

“The business actually continues to be the same, what has changed a bit are campaigns, the structure of the levels, licenses we are acquiring of each of the contents, but the audience continues consuming the same amount of content or more,” he ended.
