Hemisphere Media Group is strengthening its VOD offer at the level of the different pay-TV operators in the South Cone region, offering additional contents and all the rights freed for any platform with the pay-TV format.
“We are constantly strengthening our programming strategy, that is addressing the market with the best content in the region, both through our linear channels and our VOD contents,” expressed Fernanda Merodio, senior director of Distribution at Hemisphere.
Merodio added that Pasiones and Cinelatino are responding to the market demands by including strong contents, both for the linear channel and the and the VOD hours. “So we will continue penetrating the South Cone with both channels, strengthening them with the best content we can offer,” she said.
Merodio mentioned that Pasiones has significantly increased its distribution in Telefónica Chile. She also said that DIRECTV launched the HD version of the channel throughout all Latin America.
In preparation for next year, she announced that Pasiones will present new productions from Turkey, from the Korean strip and providers such as Globo and Televisa.
