The Spanish Supercup will face Barcelona against Real Madrid
GolTV will kickoff coverage of the Spanish Supercup on Sunday August 14, 2011 live from the Santiago Bernabeu as Real Madrid meets Barcelona at 4pm. As one of the top cups in Spain, The Spanish Supercup will deliver first-class play, fan-favorite clubs and world-class soccer stars. With the immense talent stacked in each of the La Ligas clubs, this years Supercup spectacle will surely offer soccer fans an exclusive first look at the upcoming season for clubs in top European leagues, said Rodrigo Lombello, COO of GolTV.The Spanish Supercup is a championship contested by the winners of La Liga and the Copa del Rey. The second part of this two legged match will be played on August 17 at 5pm live from Camp Nou.Barcelona is the current title holder and winner of the Spanish league with a roster chock full of powerhouse players like Villa, Xavi and Lionel Messi. On the other side of the field, Real Madrids roster boasts several of the worlds best stars including Iker Casillas, Kaká and the leagues top goal scorer Cristiano Ronaldo.
