GolTV announced an early ratings surge in January. The networks strong soccer leagues, new programs and its exclusive coverage of the Copa Centroamericana helped score rating increases as compared to the previous years numbers.According to Nielsen, GolTVs Monday thru Friday 7-11pm primetime lineup increased 85% and on the weekend 12 (noon) – 7pm increased 18% among total viewers. The growth came across various demos, including the converted Adult 18-49 demo, which saw increases of 77% in M-F primetime and +7% in the weekends 12 (noon) – 7pm.Seven of the top 10 programs delivered over 100,000 among Adults 18-49, with the highest rated program delivering 241,000 total viewers.Our soccer leagues, original shows and Copa Centroamericana all drew large and diverse audiences, proving once again that GolTV is meeting the needs of both soccer fans and underserved U.S. Hispanics.
