Galavision ranks as No. 1 cable network among Hispanic adults regardless of language

For the 2011 to 2012 season, Galavision has ranked as the No. 1 cable network, regardless of language, among Hispanic Adults in primetime and Total Day. In primetime, Galavision outdelivered its nearest competitor Discovery en Español with 56% more Hispanic total viewers, and 81% more than mun2. It also recorded 44% more Hispanic adult viewers ages 18 to 34 over both competitors, followed by 100% more of the same demographic than FOX Deportes. Among Hispanic Adults 18-49, Galavisión delivered 41 percent more viewers than Discovery En Español and 75 percent more viewers than mun2.“Once again Galavision has established its place as the leading player in Spanish-language cable television with content that truly resonates with Hispanic America” said Sebastian Trujillo, senior VP and operating manager of Galavision Network.Numbers for Total Day revealed that Galavision delivered 126% more Hispanic total viewers than Discovery En Español, and 135% more than mun2.
