Galavisión announced that it is having its best summer ever, averaging more than a quarter of a million total viewers in Spanish-language primetime. The cable network continues to show strong rating growth among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.Galavisión is delivering twice the audience of its nearest competitor, Discovery En Español, in Spanish-language primetime and Total Day.On July 10, the telecast of the FIFA U-17 World Cup final featuring Mexico and Uruguay provided Galavisión with the largest average viewing audience in Spanish-language cable history with 2.2 million Total Viewers 2+. Furthermore, the game reached more than 4.1 million Total Viewers 2+ who watched all or part of Mexico’s victory.In June and July, Galavisión telecasts took nearly all of the top rankings among Spanish-language cable Networks. The top 100 telecasts on Spanish-language cable among Total Hispanic Viewers 2+ were all on Galavisión. With Hispanic Adults 18-49 and Hispanic Adults 18-34, Galavisión telecasts delivered 48 of the top 50 telecasts vs. all other Spanish-language cable networks.So far this summer, Galavisión ranks as the leader in Spanish-language primetime with Hispanic Adults 18-49 and Hispanic Adults 18-34 among all other cable networks, regardless of language. Galavisión has also delivered a higher average audience on Total Hispanic Viewers 2+, Hispanic Adults 18-49 and Hispanic Adults 18-34 than key English-language cable networks including USA, FX, MTV and TNT.
