“There have been rumours flying around recently about the death of the format market, but I’m here to tell you that as we head into MipTV, the market is truly robust and healthy. With our exciting new launches and renewed interest in classic and pipeline formats, we can’t wait to show you what we have on offer this year,” commented Rob Clark, director of Global Entertainment at FremantleMedia.
In MipTV, they will present Secret Admirer, a tense dating show from their partners Naked Entertainment which can spark romance or kill a friendship. “Then it’s Time to Dance with our new dance competition, where you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression.”
Also, All Your Wishes, a lucky few see their craziest wishes granted on stage where the imagination is the limit. “Combining magic, comedy and wish fulfilment, this is perfect viewing for the whole family.”
They will also offer the classic gameshow Beat The Clock, with a modern makeover; the simple cooking challenge Recipes From Home; Celebrities Advice Bureau, their new talking heads show, and The Employables, where one self-made entrepreneur takes a group of socially disadvantaged job seekers and tries to form the next hottest start-up.
