Fremantle to expand production capability in LatAm

Coty Cagliolo, general director of Fremantle Mexico and Head of Production at Fremantle Latin America, explained that the agreement reached in October with Mixer Films in Brazil is part of the Fremantle strategy to grow and expand even more in Latin America. “Brazil is a very interesting market, it is a market in which our formats were always received with great affection by the audience and Mixer Films is a production company with an incredible path, with truly outstanding production capability and team,” she said.

Recently appointed as Head of Production of Latin America for Fremantle, she explains that part of her goals are to see how to expand to new territories and reach more places. Additionally, to grow in fiction production. Strategic partnerships and acquisitions are some of the actions that are coming, as well as forming a team that will report to Cagliolo.

“I wouldn´t like to say that we would like to expand, because actually Fremantle is already very expanded, but we truly want to do it hand in hand with a strategic partner that we are currently finding in Latin America,” she said.
