The president of FOXTelecolombia and Estudios TeleMéxico, Samuel Duque Jr., spoke on LIVE with Ríchard Izarra, editor-in-chief of PRODU, from Cannes, in the last edition of Mipcom.
Although El Capo, the Mexican adaptation that Estudios TeleMéxico is producing, has not yet debuted, they are connected with the production. “We are happy with the results we are obtaining in Mexico with this product. El Capo has been a very fortunate adaptation,” said Duque Jr.
El Capo will be broadcast on Imagen TV, Mexico´s new open TV network, in primetime at 9pm. The date is still unknown. The series stars Mauricio Islas.
Duque Jr. added that this year the event has been very has been very dynamic. “There are a lot of opportunities, and the industry is completely open to new projects and new ideas. That is precisely what we are working on, looking for new things and offering more alternatives to the market.”
Samuel Duque Jr., despite being so young, is a key factor for Fox Networks Group, and for all the programming that is presented at this Mipcom 2016.
