Fox Networks Group LatAm: We aim to develop US Hispanic and continue co-producing

Fox Networks Group LatAm´s Content Sales area, which has a catalogue of over 25 thousand hours of diverse genres (Latin American and international fiction, Turkish dramas, factual, lifestyle, children´s programs, documentaries), incorporated this year a series of films that will result in a total of 16 titles, among which He Named me Malala stands out.Sebastián Snaider, Content Sales VP of the group, mentioned that they also closed 2015 with the incorporation of Outcast, series by Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead, which will be launched simultaneously in the US and on the FOX screens around the rest of the world.One of Fox Networks Group LatAm´s goals for this year is to develop the Hispanic market in the US. “We have already begun with accurate proposals and content that is specific for the region and are having an excellent response from clients in the US”, said the executive. In fact, an important Hispanic network in the US acquired three dramas produced by the FOX open broadcast channel in Turkey, that are the first Turkish series that the distribution company places in the region.Another goal for this year is to continue with the co-production strategy. In this regard, Snaider announced they would co-produce a 60-episode series with Mexico´s Cadenatres.On the other hand, he revealed that the lifestyle format Escuela para Maridos (FOX Life) has already started to be distributed in the region and was acquired by an important Chilean channel.
