Scripps Networks Interactive announced its first original production for Latin America. It is Destino con Sabor (16×30) that will be launched in 2016 on Food Network for the entire region.We are focused on increasing our original productions in Latin America, creating local content that impacts the regional audience. Destino con Sabor achieves this strategy by celebrating the authentic Latin American culture and food, and it will also provide new cooking techniques and original recipes, said Adriana Alcántara, Marketing and Production VP for Scripps Networks América Latina.In Destino con Sabor, chef Grace Ramírez will teach the diversity of Latin America gastronomy through her encounters with local chefs, farmers and residents in the region. She will test family recipes from past generations, the best of crafted cuisine and she will savor the latest gastronomical trends. Seeking a sentimental connection and cooking adventures, at the end of each episode Grace will prepare dishes inspired in her experiences. The chef started her TV career behind cameras, working as a producer and director on one of Food Network´s most popular programs, Throwdown with Bobby Flay.The shootings of Destino con Sabor took place in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru. It was produced by Adriana Alcántara from Scripps Networks and by Tatiana Issa and Guto Barra from Producing Partners.
