“The Hispanic market offers a grand potential and many opportunities. We continue to be interested in expanding our offers through strategic alliances that allow us to broaden our participation within the market. We’re working on various projects that we’ll make concrete in 2013” Flavio Balaguer, director of Content of Media Networks. In the Hispanic market, Media Networks has the signal Perú Mágico, which is distributed on the Óptimo Más, Más Ultra and Lo Máximo packages of DIRECTV. It reaches an audience of more than 720,000 households. “We see Perú Mágico like a great opportunity. The channel offers content that mainly interests the Peruvian community of the U.S., which now has alternatives as far as content quality. The combination of informative, sports, entertainment and cultural content is incomparable, highly valued and we feel that it has enormous potential” he emphasized. Balaguer said that the market itself offers a great potential and the company aspires to increase its participation within it and other markets.
