First-look deal with Salma Hayek’s Ventanarosa among the most recent premium content agreements coming to ViX+

ViX+’s offer includes titles such as Travesuras de la Niña Mala (Mischiefs of the Bad Girl), an adaptation of the novel by Mario Vargas Llosa, produced by W Studios; Nautilus, produced by Dynamo and Mediacrest, based on a true life story, written by Clayton Trussell (Narcos) and directed by Ariel Vromen (The Iceman), which tells the story of a police officer with the almost impossible mission to investigate a group of criminals on a four-week submarine voyage across the Atlantic; the remake of La Hora Marcada, produced by W Studios, an adaptation of the horror series that launched the careers of some of the most acclaimed filmmakers in Mexico, such as Alfonso Cuarón, Guillermo del Toro and Emmanuel Lubezki. This franchise will show the work of a new wave of writers and directors of the genre in Latin America.
Las Pelotaris by The Mediapro Studios, a drama created by Marc Cistaré (Vis a vis, El Barco, La Víctima Búmero 8), set in the 1930s in Spain and Mexico, where three Basque handball female players make their way in a world dominated by men. Mi Vecino el Cartel, from executive producer Selena Gomez, is a true-life crime documentary series that tells the complex and intriguing story of a murder that turned a quiet suburban Texas town upside down and sparked a long international investigation (Production: July Moon Productions and Blackfin).
Targeted at young adults, the detective story Marea Alta, produced by El Estudio, is a suspense series that will be filmed in Tijuana and Ensenada, written by Antón Goenechea (Perdida) and directed by Roger Gual (Cable Girls). Los Artistas -provisional title- is part of the preferential access agreement with the writer María Dueñas, which will be her first project created directly for a series. The story is about a high-stakes heist with deception, forgery and suspense, set in the exclusive billionaire world of the arts. It is produced by Pow Wow and Islas Audiovisual.
Pinches Momias by Santiago Limón, with the executive production of Ben Silverman (Propagate and Perro Azul) is a series for young adults that combines action, horror and comedy. In addition, the biographical series of Pedro Infante and María Félix, produced by Estudios Televisa.
Novelas ViX+, including Senda Prohibida, written by Giselle González (Cuna de lobos, Caer en tentación, Imperio de Mentiras), a modern version of Televisa’s first telenovela, produced by Estudios Televisa. La Mujer del Diablo, a drama starring Carolina Miranda and José Ron, written by Leonardo Padrón (Si nos dejan, Rubí, Amar a muerte), an unconventional love story of obsession and revenge, produced by W Studios. Más Allá de Ti, produced by Rosy Ocampo, a supernatural story about a woman who discovers that she can communicate with the dead, which has unforeseen consequences for the living, produced by Estudios Televisa.
In ViX+ Original Movies: I want your life, which is part of the preferential access agreement with Salma Hayek Pinault’s Ventanarosa Productions. It is a romantic fantasy set in the world of football, where a superfan wakes up one day in the body of a famous football superstar and realizes that his favorite sport is not all fun and games.
Jenny, produced by Mucho Más Media, is based on the real life of the late Mexican-American singer and idol of many, Jenni Rivera. A biographical production of Hollywood creators Javier Chapa and Donald De Line.

ViX+ sports documentary series, such as La Sangre y la Gloria -provisional title-, produced by The Mediapro Studio, a documentary series featuring real-life sports crime cases. Brasil 2002, La Historia Real, directed by Luis Ara, a documentary series that commemorates the 20th anniversary of Brazil’s victory in the World Cup, with exclusive images of Juliano Belletti and interviews with Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos. Produced by Collective Media and Entourage Sports and Entertainment, along with Trailer Films. And Al Grito de Guerra, a look at the Mexican National Team and its well-known “curse of the fifth game”, produced by El Estudio.
