W: Dos Mundos (16x60’) will premiere in the U.S. on Monday, August 21, at 5pm ET/2pm PT
Pasiones has acquired the rights for the U.S. and Latin American premieres of the popular Korean series W: Dos Mundos (16×60’), distributed by MBC. The Korean fantasy drama debuted in Latin America on Tuesday, August 15 (times vary by country), and will premiere in the U.S. on Monday, August 21, at 5pm ET/2pm PT.
W: Dos Mundos tells the story of a young woman who discovers her father, a famous comic book author, has mysteriously gone missing while writing the last chapter of his webtoon series W. When she finds a note left behind in his office, she is pulled into the computer screen and enters a new dimension: a scene from the webtoon. She quickly collides with the comic’s hero, and parallel universes intertwine in this Korean fantasy romance, which achieved an average audience share of 15% during its broadcast in South Korea.
Following their respective premieres, viewers will be able to tune in Monday through Friday to watch these two worlds collide.
