EWTN en Español renews its programming

Walter Córdova, National Marketing Manager of Spanish Services at EWTN Global Catholic Network, said to PRODU, they are very satisfied with the widespread distribution EWTN en Español has achieved in the U.S.“We can currently be seen anywhere in the country: through telecoms, cable, or IPTV -Sky Angel, Century Link- and others that carry EWTN’s programming,” said Córdova.He announced that they are renewing all of their programming.“We are producing many series, not just new episodes but new series with the same hosts. The renewing process started this year and we hope to implement it in the upcoming rotation change in September,” he added.Regarding new apps, Córdova said they are being tested with EWTN en Español. “We are already at 100% with the channel in English: any person with an iPad or a smart phone can watch us. We are streaming live. That is beneficial for those who do not have cable systems near where they live,” he said.The executive also said that they will be broadcasting the World Youth Day event from Madrid, August 18th through the 22nd. “We are the only channel broadcasting all events live,” he added.
