Lenard Liberman, CEO of Liberman Broadcasting; Winter Horton, COO; and Judy Kenny, EVP of Network Sales and Marketing; presented the Estrella TV Upfront.Big programming announcements made by Liberman included the launch of the first U.S. Hispanic film award show Premios El Don, to be held in Los Angeles in January 2015, and the reality show Rica, Famosa, Latina.Rica, Famosa, Latina, set to launch in the fall for the prime time, is sure to grow into a franchise as Estrella TV follows the lives of five successful Latinas as their worlds intersect.Another new program presented at Estrella TV’s Upfront was the very ambitious daily, live morning news and entertainment show entitled Buenos Días Familia. The program is a three-hour live daily morning show that will be informative, humorous and entertaining. Drawing on Estrella TVs strong tradition in news programming and on its expertise in comedy and variety formats, Buenos Días Familia will be an original alternative for morning viewers.Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, who recently joined the channel as senior consultant, was also in attendance.
