Estrella TV debuts on Verizon FiOS TV in Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Estrella TV launched last week on Verizon FiOS TV in Maryland, northern Virginia and Washington D.C. The agreement with Verizon comes at a time when Estrella TV has been regularly placing third in national prime-time ratings among the U.S. Hispanic networks in the 9pm to 11pm time slot.We are excited to move into the mid-Atlantic region with Verizon FiOS, which has been a big supporter of Estrella TV and the Hispanic community in other markets. Verizon FiOS TV has a large presence in Maryland, northern Virginia and Washington, and we are very happy that we will now be able to deliver Estrella TV on FiOS TV, said Winter Horton, COO of LBI Media, Estrella TVs parent company.Verizon is a leader in Hispanic programming, and Estrella TV is a great addition to our lineup, said Marcelo Correa, Verizon director of Programming.
