Four weeks into the launch of the 2013-2014 broadcast season, Estrella TV has emerged as the only US Hispanic broadcast network to increase year to year, in prime time from 7pm-11pm Monday-Friday.With a proliferation of new cable networks launching and even a few new broadcast networks, taking the slot as the number #3 broadcast network is no small feat for Estrella TV, especially in only its fourth year on the air. Of the now 16 broadcast and cable networks in Spanish, Estrella TV is the only one that is creating 100% of its original, high quality content right here in the U.S. specifically for the U.S. Hispanic audience. The strategy is proving to be exactly what the viewers want and the ratings prove it.The successful lineup has grown audiences in all key demographics including a 28% increase in Adults 18-49 and a 27% in Adults 25-54. Estrella TV has grown its loyal viewers as they are responding to the networks strategy of producing original primetime entertainment, reality and news programming, said Judy Kenny, executive vice president Network Sales & Marketing.
