ESPN Deportes debuted a series of 16 artistic posters representing each country competing in the 2017 World Baseball Classic, the premier international baseball tournament which features the top 16 National Teams in the world.
Created by artists who hail from each of the 16 countries competing in the tournament, Proyecto ABC: Arte, Béisbol, Cultura captures how baseball is interwoven with culture and national pride. The posters are available on a full gallery on ESPNDeportes.com and ESPN.com. The posters also will be released on ESPN Deportes’ social channels to reach fans beyond its sites.
Proyecto ABC: Arte, Béisbol, Cultura, is a component of the national marketing campaign for the 2017 World Baseball Classic, which is anchored around national pride. It was developed by ESPN Deportes’ in-house marketing team.
ESPN Deportes will provide comprehensive, multimedia coverage of the 2017 World Baseball Classic. The network will air up to 45 games, including up to 22 primetime windows. Coverage of the tournament will be featured on ESPN Deportes, ESPN Deportes Radio, WatchESPN (Spanish), and ESPN Radio (English). In addition, ESPN2 will simulcast the ESPN Deportes’ Spanish-language coverage of the Final, Wednesday, March 22, at 9pm ET.
